"The Lawyer as Poet Advocate: Bruce Springsteen and the American Lawyer", presented by Professor Randy Lee

1.0 Total CLE credits, 1 of which may be applied toward Ethics

This program combines the great tradition of the American lawyer as poet advocate with the work of one of the most celebrated poet advocates of our time, Bruce Springsteen. Like the poet, the American lawyer is called to distinguish both the "flesh" from the "fantasy, and the important from the trivial, and he must do so not only for his client, but also in his own life and work. So rev your engine, make your stand, and get ready "to case the promised land" as we consider the intersection of law as life as captured in the music of the man America refers to as "the Boss."

This CLE is presented by Widener Law Commonwealth at the Lackawanna Bar Association, 233 Penn Ave., Scranton, PA 18503.  All welcome to attend.  The event is free for Lackawanna Bar Association members.  $25 for non-members.  To register, please contact Kaitlin at kmcdonough@lackawannabar.org or by calling 570-969-9161.
